Best Friend's Reunited
I met one of my best friend's my freshman year in high school and we are still friends today. At the end of the summer senior year she had to move to FL her parents moved there plus she was going to college there. I went from seeing her at least every weekend if not more, to twice a year. I normally get to see her every summer and then she normally comes up during Thanksgiving time. Well this past year she didn't get to come up during Thanksgiving so I haven't seen her since Summer. Our schedules are extremly different so we hardly ever get to talk. I really want to go see her in FL A. She is my best friend B. It is FL C. I have never been to FL or even anywhere with beaches for that matter. She wanted me to come down for Spring Break but I just don't have the money right now. So she is coming up to see me during Spring Break. I am so excited, I can't wait. I miss her SO much! She is staying with me the 12th-17th. SPRING BREAK HURRY UP ALREADY!!!!!

This Weekend
When I was a little girl my great aunt owned horses. When I went over there one day she let me ride one not by myself, but she put me up there and pulled me around while I was on the horse. I don't really consider this horseback riding.
My boyfriend's family is big into the whole boyscout thing so when they told me they were going on a camping trip and wanted me to come all I needed to hear was the word horseback riding and I was down.
We were supposed to leave Friday night; however camping and I don't really get along too well. After meeting my boyfriend Marc I went camping for the first time so I didn't really have any interest in the cmaping part. My boyfriend and I, and his sister Alyssa (My best friend) left Saturday morning becuase Mine and Alyssa's friend Mia from Massachusetts was in town and we wanted to go to dinner with her and our friend Myrah because Friday was Mia's last night here until the summer.
So Friday night Alyssa, Mia, Myrah and I all got ready at Alyssa's house and we went to the pasta house. Mia and Myrah left and Alyssa and her boyfriend Jake (Marc's best friend) and Marc and I all watched "Law Abiding Citizen." It wasn't the typical movie I would choose but it was good.
We left Saturday morning for the camp...we went to camp DuBois it took us about 1 hr to 2 hrs to get there. The directions we printed out were incorrect and we got lost a couple times. We got to the camp just in time for lunch then we left to go horseback riding. They instructor chose Wonder for me to ride. I wanted to ride Lucky but I didn't have a say. Lucky seemed to like me when I was petting her. I don't think Wonder liked me very much. We went riding (the horses only walked =[ ) then we got to give the horses treats.
I wanted to leave right after horseback riding but we had to stay the night. The place we were staying didn't have bathrooms you had to walk or drive to get to them. It also didn't have heat! Alyssa brought her heater blanket for us to sleep with so it wasn't that bad. Can't ypu just tell that camping isn't really our thing?

Valentine's Day
My boyfriend Marc and I do not really celebrate Valentine's Day like your average couple. We think it is kinda stupid actually. We think it is a hallmark holiday and that there should not be just one day to show your affection toward the one you love. And spending money on each other for that is silly...plus my birthday follows two days after. So our Valentine's Day was pretty relaxed. I came over to his house in the early afternoon and while he was still sleeping his sister Alyssa (my best friend) did my hair and make-up. She just straightened it because I didn't feel like it...it gets old after a while and she is as amazing as a make-up artist! Then I hung out with my boyfriend and we went to dinner at Fridays. We decided to visit Darcy at Family Video and rented two movies. We rented "Gamer" and "Spread." We watched "Gamer" with Alyssa and her boyfriend Jake (Marc's best friend). Then Marc and I watched "Spread" by ourselves. I would not recommend either of those movies...unless you like porn of course! Oh and if you want to watch someone feed a frog a mouse then "Spread" is definitely your movie. I watched that movie over an hour ago and I cannot get it off of my mind. It was so disgusting I felt like I was going to throw up and I almost started crying.

The Importance of Mamograms
My mom waited about five years after the reccommened time to have yearly mamogram. My mom went for her mamogram and the doctor found a lump in her breast. She then had a doctor's appointment to have an ultra sound. The doctor said it could potentially be cancer but they don't know at this time so they told her they were going to keep an eye on it and to come back in six months. Six months later she went back and had another ultrasound. They told her it was smaller but the same thing agin that they wanted to keep an eye on it and to come back in six months. If they think it is potentially cancer isn't there something more they could do instead of making her worry and come back every six months? I know that these sort of things cost money and everything but you can't put a price on my mother's life.
Gabriel Michael
One of my best friends had ovarian cancer and had to have one of her ovaries removed. The doctors told her she would never be able to have children. She proved the doctors wrong and had Gabriel last year. She had told me that she wanted to ask me a question but wanted to wait till he was born. Well after he was born she gave me this really sweet speech and asked me to be Gabe's Godmother. I told her I would have to think about it because it is quite a responsibility. I would really love to I just am not sure. If anything happens that baby could eventually end up in my custody. Don't get me wrong I love children and would love to have kids some day but not anytime soon. I just think that is a pretty big question for such a young person. Any advice?

I saved my daddy's life
I had always know my dad had high blood pressure...everyone in my family does. My dad and I were arguing Thursday night about his high blood pressure, it was extremly high. He checked it on one of those machines at Wal*Mart..I didn't even know it could be that high. I told him he needed to see the doctor he always says "I don't want to go to go I'm just going to find out something is wrong with me." It had me really worried since I took Health last semester and I realized how dangerous it was. I had him speak to my boyfriend's mom, she is a nurse. I finally talked some sense into him and he went to the doctor the next day. He had an EKG done and it was abnormal in his chest so he was admitted into the hospital the next day. He stayed overnight so they could do tests the next morning. He ended up having Acid Reflex and his good cholesterol was low. So he is now on medicine for both of those things. What really gets me is the doctor said "if you wouldn't have came in you probably would have had a heart attack in the next 6 months. Thank you Lord for realizing he finally needs to start listening to his daughter!

I am so EXCITED for tomorrow!
"Dear John" comes out tomorrow. It is a movie based on a Nicolas Sparks novel. I love Nicolas Sparks. He is my favorite author. He has written quite a few books that have been turned into movies. They are "A Walk To Remeber," "The Notebook," "Nights in Rodanthe," and "Message In A Bottle." I have read "Dear John" and "A Walk To Remeber" and loved them both. I hope to read the others soon. Unfourtunatly, those are the only books I got a chance to read by him, but I need to read his other books soon too. He has written several. I have seen all of those movies except for "Message In A Bottle." I loved all the movies that were based on his novels so I am really excited about "Dear John." I made plans to go with two different people one is going to see it with someone else she said she would still go see it with me though, but I don't know about that. I don't think it would be as fun. The other girl doesn't have any money. I would pay for her but I don't have that much either. If I brought my boyfriend he would complain the whole time. So I am going to find someone to go see it with, hopefully tomorrow. If not I am going to see it with my friend who will already have seen it...on Monday! :)
I am so ANGRY
I had planned to hang out with one of my friends on Wed. Feb. 3rd. My plans were quickly ruined when I had found out that I had a ton of geography homework to do. I had three packets to do and had all of them finished except for chapter three. I spent all day Wed working on that. When I get into class he decided to only take the first 20 questions which Darcy had did the night before. Don't get me wrong I love less work but I wish I would have known before I spent all day doing that. Darcy and I had been working on these packets together. So it turns out working all day on that packet on Wed. was pointless and I could have hung out with my friend. I told my teacher about this too. I was very upset. Hopefully next time he will decide to mark out all of the ones we don't have to do before we actually start.
What to do with my life....
Teacher, Vet, Doctor, Lawyer, something in fashion, performer...those were all my career choices at one point in my life. For the longest time everyone was always telling me "oh it is okay you have time, you are still young." I know I am still young but I don't want to waste time in school. I want to figure out what I want to do and acheive it so I can start the second part of my life. I know for sure that I want to get my Associates in Arts only because I hate science...haha! I want to transfer to a college close to my home after SWIC in either Illinois or Missouri, somewhere I can drive and I don't have to live on campus. I don't want to leave behind my friends, boyfriend, and family.
Teacher has been in the back of my mind ever since I can remeber but I am not sure if that is for sure what I want to do. I know I would be good at it but I am still just unsure. I am going to talk to teachers for my interview paper and hopefully I might get some of the answers that I don't know that I want. I would also love to do something in fashion, be a singer, or do theater but face it this world is tough and not many people make it at stuff like that.
So should I aim at being a teacher or how do I determine my career?

Loving people is artistic
"There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people."-Vincent Van Gogh. I think this quote is very interesting and I also feel it is true. People have different artistic abilities and different ways of expressing themselves through their art. I think this is a good way to think of the way people love because not only is everyone different and they love different people in different ways but they also have different ways in expressing their love toward people.
